We are delighted to announce that the 2013 European and African Conference on 
Wind Engineering will be held at Robinson College, Cambridge, UK, from July 
7-11.

2013 will be a significant year for Wind Engineering, marking the 50th 
anniversary of the first international conference, held in Teddington, UK. That 
conference was arguably the birth of Wind Engineering as a discipline and has 
led to a highly successful series of International and Regional conferences 
run under the umbrella of the IAWE.

This anniversary will be marked at EACWE 2013 with a special day of keynote 
lectures tracing the development of the core aspects of Wind Engineering since 
1963. These will define a series of themes to be developed through the rest of 
the conference in sessions that highlight the latest scientific and practical 
developments.
Important dates

    First announcement and call for papers - July 2011
    Submission of abstracts opens - 30th April 2012
    Final deadline for 4 page extended abstracts - 7th October 2012
    Registration opens - 31st July 2012
